Built by Riders for Riders & Beginners alike

The features of our park are one of the many qualities that set us apart from the rest. Our full cable includes all original features designed and built by Wakeboarders and Wakeskaters. The full cable is the first in the country to contain a "natural" (land) pool gap. Everything on the full cable is designed and built with a "safety-first" mentality. Whether you are a beginner or expert rider, a wakeskater or wakeboarder, our full cable features are designed for everyone.

In 2015, Nike sponsored the creation of our pool gap on the Wakeskate 2.0. The ledges and the height of the drop are perfect for wakeskating. Since 2015, the Wakeskate Tour has held a contest on this gap every consecutive year.

Our second System 2.0 was home to the First annual Valdosta Yard Sale event, and includes progressive and innovative rail designs. This course is for expert level riders. Offering snow-style handrails and pipes, it is the perfect playground for a rail expert. We encourage creativity here, many of the obstacles are movable.

Our Story

Quinn Silvernale and Luke Tilt crossed paths wakeboarding while attending the same college. While traveling and riding at different spots in the country as well as abroad, they formulated their own idea for a wakepark. The ideas transformed into a business plan that was presented to potential investors and fiancial institutions. Valdosta Wake Compound started in 2011 with a 2 tower system on a 10 acre fishing lake. While running the two tower wakepark, VWC acquired and developed a 30 acre facility with custom developed ponds and a 6 tower Full sized cable system where they are currently located today. The crew at Valdosta Wake Compound is constantly pushing the sport and the facility alike and have come to develop a moto of "dedicated to progression", which is fundamental to the day to day operations at the compound.
